Melkweg

The Melkweg stands for pop culture in the broadest sense of the word. Hundreds of concerts, club nights, (music) movies, theater shows, exhibitions and multidisciplinary events attract more than 400,000 visitors a year.

The Melkweg is located in the only remaining factory building on the Amsterdam Canal Belt: a former sugar and later milk mill. In the historic building you will find two concert halls, a cinema room, a theater hall and a exhibition room, which can be used independently or in combination.

In the Melkweg, established names are next to new talent and give rise to emerging trends to reach a wide audience. The diversity of programming and public, combined with the different spaces and the special location, make the Melkweg a unique place for years
